The club’s home and away strip will display The Coffee Club logo on the shirt-front following a million dollar-plus deal.

Thrilled at securing a Queensland-based but nationally recognised partner, Queensland Roar Chairman John Ribot said there were many synergies between the brands of the two organisations.

“We are absolutely delighted that The Coffee Club has come on board as our major partner for the next two and a half seasons and we warmly welcome them to Queensland Roar," he said.

“It is so important that we are associated with a highly successful and prominent national company who are recognised in every corner of Australia, but have their origins in our home state of Queensland.

"With The Coffee Club we have achieved that and believe our two brands will grow together; it’s a great fit."

He added: “Queensland Roar FC and The Coffee Club are contemporary, cosmopolitan and progressive organisations who appeal to the entire community.

"We couldn’t be happier to have joined forces with them as our major partners.”

The Coffee Club's John Lazarou said the company believed the timing was right to join the football revolution in Australia and support the Roar’s push for Hyundai A-League honours.

“We believe in Queensland Roar and know they are going to be a force to be reckoned with, both this season and in the future," he said.

“We’re very pleased about entering into this sponsorship with Queensland Roar FC in their formative years. We’ve been involved with other high profile sporting clubs and are very excited about adding Queensland Roar to our list."
