The 32-year-old played nine matches throughout the 2011/12 season with Sydney FC winning five of those clashes and losing just twice, one of which was the elimination final in Wellington.

The Award was named in honour of Premiership/Championship winning coach Vitezslav Lavicka and awarded to the player who best displayed the Club’s five core values (Courage, Inspire, Be Passionate, Excellence and Family) on a daily basis.
