Socceroos striker Tomi Juric declares the side will not waste their chances in front of goal against Honduras on Wednesday.
The first leg of the Australia v Honduras intercontinental play-off in San Pedro Sula finishes 0-0 on Friday.
However, Australia had several chances to score an away goal and take an advantage into the second leg in Sydney.
Juric himself had a one-on-one go wide, as well as a header saved and a potential tap-in go begging.
But the former Western Sydney Wanderers striker insists it will not be the same story at ANZ Stadium.
“Unfortunately we had a few chances, myself included, that we didn’t capitalise on,” he said.
“It was a bit disappointing in that regard, but come this game on Wednesday, we’ll be fully prepared and we’ll take our chances this time.
“The table’s going to turn completely the other way around…it’s up to [Honduras] to really step up this time.
“I have a great feeling about this game…that any chances we have, we’re going to make the most of them this time.”
