Cahill again appeared off the bench in Millwall's 1-0 win over Brentford, meaning after playing little more than a bit-role in his first few matches, Cahill's now getting decent Championship minutes under his belt.Β

After six matches in the Championship, Cahill has played 36 minutes, including 18 in his second-last game against Hull City.

Considering he only played 96 minutes in six A-League matches, it isn't exactly a bad result for the 38-year-old.

Millwall, meanwhile, are undefeated in their last 11 league matches, taking Harris' side up to 10th in the league, a phenomenal accomplishment given they were promoted from League One last season.Β

Harris, a fellow Millwall legend and former Cahill team-mate, was bouyed with the effect the Socceroo has had since moving to the Den.Β

"You turn to your bench and you've got a 38-year-old Millwall legend who's got more than 100 caps," Harris toldΒ NewsAtDen.

"He's the perfect person to bring on ... He knows what it takes. He came on and lifted the crowd.Β

"He put himself about and chased lost causes. I thought him, Tom (Elliott)Β and Fred (Onyedinma) were outstanding when they came on the pitch."
