Socceroos defender Milos Degenek has been named in the J.League Young Players' Best XI after his maiden season in Japan.
The 23-year-old, who has 15 caps for Australia, joined Yokohama F. Marinos from German club 1860 Munich in January.
Degenek made 27 appearances in all competitions for the Marinos, including 25 in the league.
Degenek wrote on Instagram: "Very important individual award and a great achievement to top of a great season and footballing year.
"Thanks to my club @YokohamaF.Marinos and country @Socceroos for making it a great year of football."
Degenek's Marinos finished fifth in the J.League which concluded over the weekend.
The club has been linked with ex-Socceroos coach Ange Postecoglou following the departure of French boss Erick Mombaerts.
